Office Manager
Lisa and her husband are both from Jacksonville, NC. She started as an errand girl for an orthodontist’s office, was offered a full-time job, and has worked in the dental field ever since. Our office manager loves helping patients and creating long-lasting relationships, and her favorite part of the job is seeing all the happy smiles after treatment. Outside the office, Lisa and her family enjoy spending time together, going to the beach, boating, surfing, and staying busy with the kids’ lacrosse activities.
Lindsay
Front Desk
Lindsay is from Charlotte and moved to Wilmington, NC right after high school to attend college and live at the beach. She chose dentistry because she loves helping people and believes there’s nothing better than seeing a patient leave the office with a smile on their face! Outside of work, Lindsay and her husband enjoy spending their weekends out on the boat. She also loves to travel and spend time with her family. The theme song of her life is “I’ll be there for you” from the show Friends.
Kelly
Dental Hygienist
Kelly was born in Pennsylvania but has lived in North Carolina since she was six. Her uncle, who is a dentist, thought she would love being a dental hygienist, so she looked into it, applied for school, and God took care of the rest. Kelly loves helping people with their oral health and cherishes the relationships she forms along the way. In her free time, our dental hygienist enjoys photography, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. Her bucket list includes seeing the Northern Lights and visiting New Zealand.
Diana
Dental Hygienist
Diana is originally from Wilmington, NC, and chose to work in dentistry because of a traumatic childhood experience, which inspired her to help others feel more comfortable at the dentist. She loves working one-on-one with our patients to educate and provide the best care for optimum oral and overall health. Outside the office, Diana likes to take walks, read, soak up the sun and fresh air, and travel. A fun fact? Her mom is her hero, making the most of each day and treating everyone with love and respect.
Mary Anne
Dental Hygienist
Mary Anne is originally from Northern New Jersey, lived in Maryland for some time, and moved to North Carolina in 2021. She chose dentistry because she wanted to work in health care but wanted to be able to work one-on-one with patients and get to know them better. In her free time, Mary Anne likes spending time with family, working out at the gym, visiting the beach, and watching the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Capitals. A fun fact? She was born in Trinidad, West Indies.
Amanda
Dental Assistant
Amanda is a dedicated dental assistant with a decade of healthcare experience, including three years of bringing smiles to Hoggard Family Dentistry. She thrives on helping patients feel completely at ease while educating them and restoring their smile confidence, with a special passion for full-mouth restorations and implant cases. Outside the office, Amanda loves heading to the beach, riding horses, and spending quality time with her partner Lee, their kids Collin and Poppy, and their eccentric Irish setter, Seamus, as they eagerly await the arrival of baby boy Connor. When she is not with family, you can usually find her sipping coffee, listening to country music, or visiting her favorite spots in Southport and Oak Island.
Taylor
Dental Assistant
Tay has been a valued Dental Assistant at Hoggard Family Dentistry for a year and a half and has spent the last six years helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She is passionate about making every visit a positive experience and loves helping patients reach their oral health goals. Her favorite part of the job is seeing a patient’s smile after addressing a concern that has been bothering them.
With specialized training in dental assisting, X-ray certification, OSHA certification, sterilization, oral surgery procedures, and cosmetic cases, Tay is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality care. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for from the moment they sit in her chair. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling happier, more confident, and at ease.
Originally from Clinton, North Carolina, in Sampson County, Tay is the youngest of four siblings and is a proud dog mom to her fur baby, Ziggy. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active at the gym, taking Pilates classes, walking the Loop, playing golf, spending time with her family, playing with her nieces and nephews, and snuggling with Ziggy. On sunny weekends, you’ll often find her at the beach swimming in the ocean or cruising on the boat.
Patients may be surprised to learn that Tay still has one of her baby teeth! She lives by the motto, “YOLO—you only live once,” and believes in making the most of every day. She enjoys both coffee and tea, loves both the beach and the mountains, can’t get enough of Bob’s Burgers, and recommends Origins as one of her favorite local restaurants.

Hi, I’m Jami! I am a native Wilmingtonian! I’ve worked in dentistry for nearly 20 years and enjoy helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, baking, reading and visiting the mountains-my favorite place to unwind.
I love this office! The best staff ever and you feel very comfortable from the time you walk in the door until you’re finished.
Highly recommend. Great team, from the office to my hygienist to my dentist. They’re caring, friendly, and, yes, I always have a laugh or two!
