Complete Smile Makeover with Upper Denture and Lower Implant-Supported Denture

Patient Information
This patient presented with an upper complete denture and several remaining teeth on the lower arch that were in poor condition due to gum disease and cavities. She was unhappy with the appearance of her upper denture and wanted a brighter smile that showed more teeth. She also wanted improved chewing ability.
After evaluating her smile, bite, and overall oral health, we developed a treatment plan that included a new custom upper denture and a lower implant-supported denture. The remaining infected lower teeth affected by periodontal disease and decay were removed, and dental implants were placed to support the lower denture.
Dental implants provide excellent chewing support while helping maintain jawbone health and stability. Because the prosthesis is supported by implants rather than natural teeth, the risk of future cavities and periodontal problems is greatly reduced.
The result is a complete smile makeover with a brighter smile, improved tooth display, and a more stable bite that allows the patient to chew comfortably and confidently.
