Full Mouth Restoration for Severe Tooth Wear and Bite Collapse

Patient Information
This patient presented with severe tooth wear caused by frictional forces, along with a significant loss of vertical dimension, meaning the bite had collapsed over time. She also had an end-to-end bite, abrasion near the gum line of the back teeth, and areas of dental breakdown that required treatment.
We began with comprehensive records and smile design to create a plan that fit the patient’s facial features, then used a deprogrammer to help find a comfortable and stable jaw position before rebuilding the bite.
To restore function, improve aesthetics, increase tooth length, repair cavities, and protect the teeth from future wear and acid erosion, we completed a full mouth restoration with custom-stained ceramic crowns.
The result is a more confident smile, a more relaxed facial appearance, and a healthier, more stable bite.
